Cooking Notes


You see this bread?    The bread with the gorgeous crust and perfect interior?    Piled with fresh mozzarella, baby arugula from my garden, roasted red peppers, and my homemade red onion marmalade?    I made that bread (courtesy of Jim Lahey's My Bread), and not only is it the best bread I've ever made, it's some of the best bread I've ever eaten.

I may become a bread baker yet.

The only bummer is it basically takes a full 24 hours to make, so it's not very easy to make spur of the moment...
