CSA 2011, Week 8
I'm posting this a bit late, because it's been so hot that even the idea of turning on my computer was anathema, but this week's haul is: potatoes, chioggia beets, scallions, salad mix, broccoli, dinosaur kale, peas, and all the summer squash we could carry.
A few highlights from last week's eating: a Balsamic and Green Bean Potato Salad, which was a lovely option when it was merely too hot to cook for very long. I also enjoyed a modified version of Spring in a Bowl . I used goat cheese from the CSA, and added cherry tomatoes.
