Thuya Garden, Northeast Harbor, ME
Our second stop on Saturday was the Thuya Garden, which is run by the same land preserve as the Azalea Garden. Unlike the Azalea Garden, it's still early in the season, so while there were some blooms, it was obvious that the best is yet to come. (Click the collage for a more detailed album.)
Still, it's a beautifully laid out garden, and there's an optional walk up from Route 3 along a terrace with lovely views of the harbor that we'll definitely be doing the next time we come here.
